About Average Youth Association
Founded in Vilnius in 2021, Average Youth Association (AYA) is a safe, inclusive, and dynamic social space created to strengthen the European cultural ecosystem and promote meaningful linguistic and intercultural exchange. Rooted in the values of equality, sustainability, democracy, and innovation, AYA works to empower individuals and communities to become active agents of inclusive and sustainable change.
We believe that education, dialogue, and cultural connection are fundamental tools for building a more just and resilient society. Through workshops, creative projects, international exchanges, and community events, we provide young people and local communities with the opportunities and knowledge needed to engage, reflect, and act at both local and global levels.
Our activities focus on five interconnected pillars:

Although based in Vilnius, our vision is both local and international. We design projects that respond to the needs of our communities while drawing inspiration from partners and collaborators across Europe. This two-way flow of knowledge and experience helps us to localize global values and, at the same time, internationalize local voices.
